Location of Parts on Millenia S????? Please help

Hi guys,

I am inquiring some help. I have a 98 Mazda Millenia S Miller Cycle 2.3 engine. I was wondering if anyone knew the location of the coolant temperature sensor and the engine control computer. The fans will not turn on even with the a/c. please help

Is the engine overheating with no fans coming on as well? The ECT is buried at the front top of the engine area and PCM is in the center console kind of straight down from the radio on the floor. ECT signal should not matter if the fans will not even come on with the A/C turned on as the fans should run regardless of coolant temp. Does the A/C compressor engage? Fan system on your car is fairly complex. Two speed cooling fan controled by three separate relays and condensor fan is a one speed operated by two separate relays. Compressor even has its own relay.

The fans won't come on at all. The compressor will engage if the a/c is set to auto and 65 degrees. anything other than that, no a/c unless you turn the fan up manually. My mechanic said that there is no way that he can fix it and i would have to take it to a mazda dealership. any other feedback is appreciated.

i'm a little confused. are you asking about the fan/blower INSIDE the car(heater/ac), or the fans in the engine bay, in front/back of the radiator?

Good question keninn!!!! I was thinking of only the external cooling fans from the initial description.
