intake....

I just got a basic cone filter for my millenia... when I put it on, and ran it, the check engine light came on and it idles REALLY low. What is going on? what do I need to do?

DID YOU PUT THE MASS AIRFLOW METER BACK IN PLACE OR DID YOU REMOVE IT WHEN INSTALLING THE INTAKE?

yeah i did not take off the air flow sensor, i unclipped the wire to it, but i put it back on ... dunno

I WOULD ASSUME THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM-I WOULD SAY UNPLUGG IT AGAIN AND PLUG IT BACK ....ALSO GIVE THE MASS AIRFLOW A TAP

Not sure which millenia you have but there is a CAI available for our 2.5L cars that is an excellent kit. You just have to catch them on the next limited production run. The guy that does these actually drove a millenia 2.5L at one time. Here is the link. to my domain site and the intake is made by J/K autosports. If you need more info let me know
