I'm thinking of buying my girlfriend a 2000 millenia with 133k. Anything I should know about before i go and drop $4000 on this thing? What i mean is.. are they notorious for anything?

that's high for an 00 millenia with 133k. dunno where you are, but here in dallas that will almost get you an 01-02 's' with way less than 100k.

resale on a millenia sucks. everyone goes by nada or kbb, and they THINK they can get that. i've been watching millenia sales for 10 years. probably about 60% of kbb is more realistic. if you have to pay someone else to do repairs, this car will eat your lunch. most parts are dealer only. shops know nothing about this car. also, is this a 2.5 or a 2.3? the 2.5 is a pig and cannot get out of it's own way. these cars are much higher maintenance than most others.

like any used car, the condition/reliability depends a lot on the previous owner. i consider the car very reliable, but then i also do a lot of preventative maintenance. the main problem i see is that some people cannot or will not work on the car, so they take the car to a shop. most shops have never seen this car, and have no idea on how to service/repair it. the dealer is no exception, just more expensive. if you cannot work on this car yourself, i advise against getting it.
