CEL Stays on and P1195 Code
 

I have a 98 Mazda Millenia 2.5L V6 and the check engine light has been on for a while.
The code is P1195 which I've been told from a mechanic is the EGR Boost Sensor, I've been told it is Barometric Sensor problem. I seen a post on another forum to replace the vacum hose from EGR to Boost Sensor which I did and the light went off for about 5 minutes and then came back on. I at least feel I'm closing in on the problem but if anybody has any ideals on what I could do next I would really appreciate the info. I realize a $500 trip to dealer is always an option but I'd like to save that for last.
I have a deadline for emissions test and won't test it as long as light is on!
I really appreciate any help out there.
