ok could someone please explain to me why my security alarm continuously goes off. I need to have it disabled or something but no one seems to know how or be willing to do it for me. no matter what i do even to reset it with key it wont stop....help anyone?

 

Is this a factory alarm system or an added aftermarket unit that is giving you problems?

 

if this is the same person from the other group, it goes much deeper than just the alarm. a/c resets to 77, chime sounds, lites turn off. i would guess ignition switch is fubar. is the ign switch a common problem? it is real common on some bmw's.

 

Never had a problem with a Millenia ignition switch yet.

I would check your fuses. I had similar problems and then i looked at my fuses for my stereo and ended up putting a few new fuses in and it works like a champ now. But I dont know, I not very good with these things but thats what i would check due me having a similar problem and then it being that.

 

in the mean time if you pull the fuse marked room it will dissable it but you will lose interior ligth functions
