95 millienia it jumps on acceleration

When I accelerat the vehicle it jumps by itsself I can do it as smooth as possible it stills jumps. What is the cause of that? Do I need a tune up or its the throttle not should what can i do to stop that?

I dont think there is an actual problem with your car, my car does the same exact thing and all i did was put premium gas and it will go away. It also happens when you try to accelerate slow of a light or something like that, I also realized that the car is smoother when you actually shift at 3 grand of a light instead of trying to shift a 2 grand for me its real rough around 2grand but around 3 grand it smooth.

Could be a sticking throttle plate in the throttle body as well. Does the gas pedal seem to stick with the engine not running? Floor the pedal and then release as quickly so the throttle slams shut. Then press on it gently with your hand a see if it sticks a bit. What engine do you have in the Milly Duvev? Torn open intake boot might also give you some similar problems.

i had a similar problem with my 97 milly...when i went to get an oil change the attendant discovered a pretty decent size crack in my air intake hose, so he temporarily duct taped it up and the problem dissappeared, so i replaced the hose, 20 some bucks on ebay, and havent had the problem since
