water on passenger floorboard

Hi Everyone..

I have a 94 miata.... Recently, I have been hearing a wierd noise under the glove box when i turn right or left, and water comes out under the dash. I took the drainage tube off and it was plugged, but it still makes some sort of fan... whirring noise... kinda like some sort of fan is getting water in it when water is coming out.... even with the hose unplugged, and me wanting the water to go on the floor, it still comes from some area around the plug hole too....

does anyone have any idea what this might be? Do I have to take the whole dashboard out to figure this out?

help

Brian

Water still in the heater fan area? Assume the drain hose you removed was further toward center of car for the evaporator. Have you tried removing the heater fan yet?

In the event you have not gotten an answer. I have a 90 miata and it does the same thing. the issue is the drain pan. you have to take apart the whole dash to get to it and it most likely has mildew in it. This mildew creates a clog in the drain line. So even after you clean out the line it will not take long to clogg back up and the the waer will run again.

Sorry
