Water!!
 

Hi, I have a 1991 Miata and there is a massive flood on ONLY the driver's side floor! This happens all the time when it rains and it gets quite flooded rapidly (like in 2-5 minutes). Where's it coming from? I've checked everywhere (well, when I get the chance). Maybe you know what I don't. Thanks for your support!!

This is a problem I have with my MK2. Probably the water channels at the back are blocked especially if you park near trees. Put the roof dowm and behind the door posts where the roof sits there are small holes about 1" that are used for drainage when the roof is up (they may be hidden just under the carpet and are both sides of car). Use a stretched out metal coat hanger and carefully push down. This should clear any debris. Check by slowly pouring water down.

I've noticed also that if I don't wait to zip the window till after the top is clamped, sometimes one side or the other will have a small gap left where the top seal meets the top of the windshield in the corner.
