Running Lumpy
have a mazda mx5 on a P plate since i changed battery she has been running lumpy and when i put lights on she makes a banging sound under the bonnet..please help as she was 100% before this i have checked the battery connections and thee fine also seems to be smoking a lot which it never done :mad:before

If you could please provide us with what your car is (year, engine, trans etc) this would really help us out in helping you :) Remember that most of the users on this site live in the USA so using the British way of saying your plate number will mean diddly to them, when you tell the year of your car use the manufactured date and not the first registered date ;)

Was there a particular reason you replaced the battery? What kind of smoke, white, black, blue?
