New airbag system on rebuilt Miata
I have a rebuilt 2000 Miata that had been in a front end collision. The airbags had deployed and when it was reassembled they were not replaced. I have a decent source for parts and will have no problems replacing the two airbags and the SAS or Controle module - whatever you want to call it. The partI am having trouble with is the front sensor. I’ve only found reference to it in one document. It looks like it is mounted under the emblem on the front of the car. On this car there is no bracket and no wiring. I cannot find any documentation showing how it should be wired in to the SAS. Does anyone have a diagram or can you tell me?
