MX-5 reverse lights - how many on UK registered car?

Just doing basic checks on UK registered 2019 MX-5 Orange edition before its first MOT. Never noticed before, but it has just one reverse light coming on? Is this correct? The car looks to have two lights but not sure if one is just a dummy, added for cosmetic reasons. Can't see anything in the manual. Thanks.
