Gas Release knob and Foot brake Pad
I am a newbie I have 1993 Mazda Miata. Over the years the rubber pad on the brake pedal has worn out and been discard, and I lost the knob on the end of the gas cap release. Any place I can get either of these for a reasonable price. I do not need the entire trunk and gas cap release. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to buy replacement pedal pads through most auto parts shops. I do know the Miata pedal pad fits other mazda's so are quiet common and from my experience cheap. Don't know if you can but OE still. They cut off the supply of some parts as the car ages but I believe Mazda Japan are now remaking many parts for Miata's. Can't help but maybe a wrecker for the fuel cable knob.

so it’s a numbers equation, I can’t possibly answer every question that comes up everyday on this forum that has good members and very capable of answering many of the easier questions. As well I participate on between 5-9 forums Dailey and belong to dozens so I need to choose a thread based on time factors of how much I am willing to give to its end. Funny with your level of experience you even posted in this thread? |

I checked again and was able to purchase the pedal cover via eBay from Miata Moss, Thanks
Off topic but semi connected because of MOSS mention. I was a Moss Motors aka Moss Distributor for parts back in the late 70's to mid 80's when I was going through my British car phase and including it on my other Automotive business. And for the sheets and giggles wrote 2 articles one was a British car periodical that primarily covered early British production cars the other was a USA based periodically flyer. My column was How to Americanize your MG. |
