Greetings,
I have a question about my 2008 PRHT Grand Touring MX5
The passenger door handle came off in my hand yesterday. I don't see anywhere where it looks broken ???
An ideas, maybe a pin came out or a screw ?
Any thoughts or diagrams of this would be a big help...

The nuts that secure the handle likely finally loosen and feel ... look in the lower part of your door by removing the inner door panel. From there is should be fairly straight forward. Unless the plastic bar tab was broken in which you will likely need to replace the complete door handle assembly. Not sure if that plastic part is a universal part offered from anyone???

 

I will give that a try, the stealership wanted to sell me a replacement door handle fof ~ $197 and would not assure me that would solve the issue. Like I said, I don't see anything that looks broken on the handle , inside door handle works like normal
