Airbag module 1991 Miata

Hello,
I’m new here and to Miata owning... It’s so much fun to drive. We’ve had our 1991 a little more than a week and I’ve fixed several things.

I’m working on the airbag flashing light.
The initial flashing was 10. So it was the module from the code chart.
The module had one failed capacitor, the 141C fuse was open, the resistive heater wrapped around the fuse was also open.
All the traces are intact.

I replaced the capacitors and the fuse.
i read the component wrapped around the fuse is a metal film resistor. Someone said it was a 10 ohm 1/4 watt rating? I still don’t know.
so I tried installed a 10ohm 1/4 watt metal film resistor.
Reinstalled the module and the light worked for a few hours. The light came on and went dark as it should for a few hours.
The airbag light start flashing again. This time three flashed. The code chart indicates a power supply issue.
Within a short time the light stop flashing and stayed on.
i pulled the module back out and found the 10 ohm resistor burnt and open.
My questions,
Does anyone know where to find the original component?
Does anyone know what the ohm value should be? Is it 10 ohms?

I have not checked the S sensor.
I have Checked the 1200 ohm value of the D sensors And they appear good. I checked at the sensor connections.
I have checked the computer module. It is good.

I’m guessing most will say replace the module and I’m almost there.
My main concern, buying a Replacement module and having it burnout because there is another issue.
Any thought or knowledge is appreciated.
Paul
