Air conditioner squeals

Air conditioner squeals
I have a 2017 RF bought new May 2017. About 3 months after buying I got caught driving in a horrible rainstorm (may have nothing to do with problem). That evening I began hearing a high pitched squeal which I originally thought was speaker feedback. I realized it was actually the air conditioner. It is not really loud and is intermittent but really annoying. When it does make the sound it is always when rpms are around 1500. Dealer not sure what is causing it. They tried removing Freon and replacing but this did nothing. They say it is the sound of the Freon condensing and since the cabin is so small that is why I can hear it. They say there is nothing wrong. Anyone else have this issue? I drive 2 hrs a day and the squeal is driving me crazy. Live in Florida so not using the air conditioner is not an option. Any thoughts on my problem are appreciated.

I’ve never heard of R134a refrigerant, (freon is the name of an older type of refrigerant that is not used in your car), condensing as being the cause of a squealing sound.
Squeals are frequently associated with belts slipping. Has the dealer, or another mechanic, checked the belts? If you (carefully) look at the AC compressor when someone else turns on/off the AC, can identify better the source of the squeal?
Whatever the source of the squeal, this should be fixed under warranty. If one dealer won’t take your problem seriously, you should find a dealer who does.
