I sold my 05 Vette to buy a C7. Then I decided I did not want to pay $65K for a car and deal with GM and warranty issues. I don't have the faith in GM support I do in Mazda (or Infiniti, Honda, Toyota) No particular reason just a feeling.....

So I found a 15K mile 08 Z51 C6 to enjoy while I wait for the 2016 MX-5. I fully expect the MX-5 to be a great replacement for the Corvette. Yeah not in performance but I just wanted a two seater roadster convertible. The Vette was and is a good value for the money. A $72K car for Half the money.


I will then be able to sit back and watch the launch and release and testing and maybe even put off a purchase waiting for a RHT while enjoying a nice roadster in the meantime.

I almost bought a 12 GT RHT but the depreciation on the C6 will be less and I really did not like the "soap bar" styling of the MX 5. The 2016 is what I have been waitng for from Mazda. An aggressive look with the Mazda 3 Interior and tech.

I originally joined this forum thinking I wanted a CX 5. but the Tech was iffy so i bought a Venza....(boring but very roomy) sold it and bought a Vette, and leased a Honda CRV as a rainy day vehicle. Now I want the 2016 Miata.
