1992 fuel delivery problem

[:@] I have a 1992 all stock, 166,000 miles and stillruns strong with good oil pressure. Recently began having an intermitentfuel delivery problem. No problem on cold start, but once it warms up to operating temp, aprox. 10 minutes, it will begin to sputter on aceleration almost like a vapor lock condition. Problem is only at low RPM and if I feather through sputter and keep her running until approx 2000 RPM car will take off like a bat outta hell and pull hard through rev limiter.

Fuel pump new, Fuel filter new, plugs new, wires new, Mobil one syn,

Loosing my mind and sure appreiciate your thoughts.

RE: 1992 fuel delivery problem

I forgot to mention that if she stalls when in this condition she becomes extremely dificult to restart as if no fuel pressure or delivery though fuel pump is working on start circuit.

RE: 1992 fuel delivery problem

For a fuel pump I have a question if both of you put one in. For a 99 do you have to drop the tank to replace a fuel pump? or is like the 97 and below you don't have too. I have a repair manual for an older one but I traded and have a 99 now so I just wanted to know if it is the same procedure. If I don't have to drop the tank I don't want to.
