I have a mazda 3 2007 it has the LF DE engine
2.0L vvt
I live in australia the shops want $500 for a cam chain kit havent been able to get anyone o give me a part number
I have searched the net endlessly but have not found a defanate answear
so help is needed
is the cam chain the same as the 2.3L
L3
They list the vvt part as the same fits both
2.3 and 2.0 plus 2.5
but the kits i see online are all for 2.3L 2.5L
and very rare to see 2.0l kit with the vvt cog
so my question is
are all sprockets/parts the same
are the chains different length or the same
any help with part numbers
what im thinking is mazfa may have droped production of parts and now just use the 2.3L part number
I dont understand why its so hard to find a cam chain kit for a LF DE
