wheel noise stopped when turning...
Dear all,
my right front wheel makes a winning/squeaking noise when driving straight but as soon as i turn the wheel right or left it it gone... Where should I look? dust shield...caliper...other? Thanks for the help! |
A sticking brake caliper is a possibility as is a dry wheel bearing.

1: Check the tightness of your wheel nuts.
2: Jack up the front wheels, shake the wheel Left to Right & Up & down to check for play. 3: Spin the wheel really fast with 1 hand & place the other on the Shock & spring, feel for roughness & also listen to it. 4: remove the wheel, caliper & disc & check for stones/debris. Check also for uneven brake pads. |
