Touring vs. GT/Signature ride
 

I'm looking at a Touring in Soul Red with tan leather. We have horrendous roads where I live (Northern Michigan) so I think this package with the 18" wheels vs. the 20's may actually be better for me and a bit more compliant over sharp bumps and potholes.

However, the nearest dealer is a couple of hours away so I can't easily test drive multiple cars.

Has anyone compared the different setups? Is there a noticeable difference in ride quality?

Oh, and the Touring I found (boy, there just aren't many in stock anywhere close to me and I wanted the lighter colored seats) also has the added package with Bose, Moonroof, etc. I guess it really isn't missing much from a GT short of those larger wheels.

The signature is gorgeous but there seriously doesn't seem to be a single one available within 4 hours of me.

I think the 18" tires with taller sidewalls may be more resistant to being damaged by a bad pothole. I'd get it.

Sorry to be late to the party. I would agree with PT guy. If you hit a large pothole with taller tires you stand less chance of damaging the rims. I've driven the Touring, the GT and the Signature. Couldn't tell any difference in handling. We bought the GT.
