I replaced the radio in my 2008 CX-9 with a screen to provide backup camera support. I now have a battery drain problem that nobody can fix. Mazda dealer service said they could not diagnose due to OEM screen. Other repair shops have identified the drain as due to the connection constantly pinging to find the Bose sound system. The new screen is connected to the speakers but apparently doesn’t provide the appropriate response to the connection. Any suggestions on how I can stop that ongoing ping?
