Oil Dipstick Stuck

The Oil dipstick is stuck in my 2012 cx-9, its been this way since we bought the vehicle 2 years ago. Can the whole dipstick and tube be replaced and how? Where to get parts?

Thank you,

Steve

I hope its had a few oil changes since then?

Have you grabbed hold of it with a pair of pliers?

Yes, I do change the oil regularly, I have tried pliers, I am afraid of breaking the tube, which I why I am asking about just replacing it, and where can I purchase it?

Have you rung Mazda to see if both the Dipstick & the tube are available from Mazda?

I hate buying from dealer, they always charge 3 times as much, plus there isn't even one close to me. 1.5 hours away.

Sometimes the tube is bolted to the block. Sometimes the tube is pressed into the hole in the block. You can take a look. It might require looking from the bottom, so be ready to remove any cladding in the way. It might require a long handle inspection mirror.

The dipstick is available for $8.55. I can't find a listing for the tube. At some time you'll be near a dealership. Have a chat with the parts guy.
