Default Need advice from dog owners

Hi there. I currently own a 2015 Toyota Sienna SE and looking to trade it in for a 2017 CX9 Signature. We are a family of 5 (2 teens and 12 year old) and also have a 75lb dog. Just wondering if anyone who owns a CX9 and has a similar family dynamic, dog similar in size, how they find the practicality of the CX9?

I know that everyone will have different opinions and I want to hear them all. So I would kindly appreciate anyone who is willing to take the time to give me their thoughts/experience.

Thanks in advance!

With just two rows of seats up poochie will be in the way-back. With 3 rows up he'll be in the 2nd or 3rd row. Note that with the 3rd row down there is quite a gap between the folded seat back and the back surface. Check that.

I never let one of the dogs into an empty front passenger seat. Their weight activates the air bag. If someone hits us the air bag can deploy, break their neck, and kill them.

Oops, my mistake, the gap is when the 2nd row of seats is down. With the 2nd row up there's no gap.
