Default Memory saver with battery change?

Is it necessary to use a memory saver with a battery change on a 2020 CX9? Wondering about Sirius radio and nav settings.

Amazon sells them. They are a device that plugs in to an accessory socket or the OBDII port depending on the kind. They are powered externally.

No you do not need a memory saver. There may be a couple nonessential system components that you may have to reset but not critical system or components.
We have found based on customers input that many of those so-called memory savers DO NOT WORK as advertised with all platforms. But I am more suspicious to think they just didn't follow the "EXACT" direction and were a little more careful of their use? LOL
