Mazda cx-9 window regulator- URGENT HELP

Hi guys i really appreciate if you can help.

i bought recently mazda cx-9 model 2008 in australia.

the window regulator for passenger side was not working so i got used one and replaced it and still the passenger window does not go up and down properly all the way.

i asked the company i bought it from they said you need a code to put so the new motor for regulator will start working properly.

please any ideas how i can get the code and put it??

thank you so much

We owned and/or worked in the collision industry for going on 30 years and I do not ever remember there being a "code" to re-set a power window motor unless it was a door with an unframed window like you find on a 2dr hardtop or convertible and even that was simply a procedure you did with the window switch, not a code. Unless you have a damaged track inside the door or the window channel weatherstrip is binding the glass(which is possible if the previous owner's been fooling with it) you may just have another bad regulator. Check the window channel first and be sure it can slide up/down freely.

Replaced heaps of cx9 window motors, definitely no programming required.
