Liftgate beeps when car put into gear
 

I have a 2012 CX-9. All of a sudden, when I put the car in Drive or Reverse, there is a beeping coming from the Liftgate. There aren't any lights on the dash to signify something wrong.

It did just come back from having some body work on the drivers side rear corner. They did have to take the rear bumber off, is there some sensor around there that needs to be plugged back in?

I called the body shop, but the guy who worked on my car isn't working again until Tuesday.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

I just did realize that before the door lock is hit or auto engaged, the Door ajar light is on. The beeping is coming from the Liftgate so I am assuming that is the door that it thought to be ajar.

How can I test, Check or fix the door ajar sensor for the lift gate?
