Greetings -- just picked up a new Carbon CX-9. My salesperson (we go way back from a previous brand dealership) called me and told me a CX-5 Carbon was in stock -- thought I wanted that. It was just a bit small for my dogs and what-not. He had a CX-9 still on the truck, so I got that. It is very nice indeed. It appears Mazda does not know how to align their cars, and the steering wheel is off center ("but within specs" -- 3 degrees is not in-spec in my opinion for a new car, but so reads the TSB for "off center steering wheel") so I'm taking it to my "guy" to get the steering wheel straightened. Very simple to fix. He will have it dead on. (I hate an off center steering wheel -- drives me crazy). But other than that and a few surprising rattles when driving on the rippled dirt roads to my farm, it is very nice indeed. I love the torque in this engine. Very pleasing.
