front/side sensors
 

I have a 2018 CX-9 and yesterday was my first day driving it in the snow. The snow was a heavy snow and in a short time covered the front parking sensors. This sent out an alarm and warning that they were blocked, which if it happened once it would have been ok. But because I was traveling it continued to happened and I was concerned that it was going to automatically apply the brakes. I saw no way, once in the alarm status, to shut it off, lower the alarm sound or even override the sensor, the screen was stuck in alarm mode.
Is there any override for this for next time? Will it in time apply braking?
