CX9 bra
I have to do a lot of winter driving in the mountains in BC where they use a pretty coarse sand with pea sized pebbles, it's wreaking havoc on my front end. Has anyone ordered a temporary roadtrip bra that works on a 2020 cx9 gt?

Have you considered PPF (paint protection film) a.k.a. clear bra? It's not exactly temporary but lasts for many, many years. AND in my opinion offers better protection. I'm not sure how "temporary" you're looking to have one but those black "bras" are infamous for trapping dirt and debris underneath and over time, act like sandpaper scuffing the paint underneath. So although it may offer some protection against chips, if left on long enough, it will ruin the finish. Also worth mentioning that because PPF is clear, it's barely noticeable, if at all. Unlike those strap on bras which are rather unsightly.
You can install PPF yourself if you're patient and handy enough or have it done by a competent shop.

Thanks! I didnt know much about ppf so I did some googling. It looks like the way to go so I am going to give it a try and do it myself. Have to protect this thin paint somehow.

I installed PPF on my SF since I got it in 2013 and it's still on after all these years. It has definitely done it's job with all the visible scars. But the ironic part is underneath, it's the best looking paint on the whole vehicle. LOL!
Just clean and wax it as you would the rest of the paint and you're all set. Share some pics too when it's done. 😊
