CX9 Blacked-out wheels

I need some advice; I will probably purchase a 2021 CX9 GT and would like to have the same wheels as the Carbon Edition. Which avenue is preferable, have the original wheels painted, or have the dealer swap the wheels? I thought about having them painted locally, but unsure about the quality and durability of painting. I live in Charleston, SC. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm a little late here but for what it's worth I just had my rims on my 2016 powder coated by Stokes Mazda in North Charleston under warranty; they subbed it to Kwicksilver powder coating. I went with gloss black and they look really good. It has only been about a month so I can't comment on how durable they will be in the long run. The factory finish was coming off so I suspect they might come powder coated from the factory. It cost $650; Mazda paid $500 of it.
