CX-9 Recalls
Mazda announced a recall for the "door checker" (in July?). The dealer gave us a rental car while they fixed the problem, no charge. Evidently the "door checkers" keep the door from opening too fast. The dealer explained that in time, the original door checker would get squeaky and noisier over time...and the front doors would be more difficult toopen.
This isn't a recall but seemed worth posting
The clock on our CX-9 was running slow and after a call to the local dealer, they ordered a replacement clock/board. It has been 3 weeks later and the clock seems to be on time. They offered a rental car during the repair but it was a quick 30 minutes in the waiting room (Oak Tree Mazda in Santa Clara, CA - a great dealer).
