CX-9 Peeling Paint
 

I have a 2008 CX-9 Grand Touring. Only 60K miles and I've taken good care of it. The paint looks AWFUL. The side mirrors have looked like the paint disintegrated for a while, but just recently the roof looks like the clear coat is peeling right off. I realize that my car is old, but I've never seen paint come off like this before. My roommate and my mother both have 2004 Fords and their paint still looks fine. My sister has an 03 VW with over 200K miles and no paint issues. None of them treat their cars any differently than I do mine. Wondering if anyone else is having similar issues? There's not a chance that I'd be able to afford a really good paint job right now or probably anywhere in the near future. The most I might be able to swing is a Maaco special. Do you think it would be worth it or is the Maaco paint so bad that I might as well leave it looking like crap? Any ideas?
