Clock not working after disconnecting battery

I replaced a damaged low beam light socket. Then, I went to reset the clock. I know how to do it through the navigation, calibration, set clock menu. That isn't the issue. Once you get to the menu with the +1 or -1 hour button, the clock is set to --:--. Pressing the + or - buttons does nothing. Help!

Clock set not working

Same exact thing happened to me. Changed the battery, now clock won't set. Went to the dealer, they said they've never seen this before. And they wanted to charge $175 for diagnostic. No thanks. Please advise if you find a solution. Thanks and good luck.

I had the same issue

I called Mazda and they said I could try resetting the system (disconnect battery and let the + and - cables touch for about 20 minutes to dissipate and residual power). Not sure I want to try it.
