I recently got the new CX9 and I want more sound out of that 4 cylinder. Has anyone done any mod to their own like removing the muffler or replacing the exhaust?

 

I doubt it will sound good, but that is just my .02.

 

people do muffler deletes on mazdas.. imo the sky active does not sound good like that, though. It is not a performance engine.. and anyone who knows cars will laugh at you for trying to make a mazda sound like one.

And anyone who doesn't know cars will just be annoyed that your car makes too much noise.
