Post Ambient Air temperature (AAT) Sensor high input problems

Hello everyone, new guy here so, sorry in advanced if this question has been posted before.
I have a 2019 CX-9 and I'm having some issues with the Outside Air/Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) readings in the dashboard. Sometimes it shows no reading ( - - - - °C) or also wrong very high T° like +30°C (now we are in winter, it is 5°-10 °C top). Because of this I'm pretty sure the car is displaying in the dashboard the following warnings:

- Driver Attention Alert Malfunction
- Smart City Brake Support Reverse Malfunction

I'm pretty sure those three issues are related to the ATT because those warnings are displayed when the AAT sensor fails to read outside air temperature correctly. Once the correct AAT is displayed those alerts go away. I read that the car reads intake air T° (IAT) and cooling water temp (ECT) and if they are different from the AAT the car overrides the AAT reading and that is why (I believe) after a couple of minutes after starting the car, the AAT normalizes. I scanned and shows code P0073(00) which is "Outside air temperature sensor - high output".

Does anyone has experienced the same issue? and did found the root cause?. I could go and change the AAT sensor which is quite easy but don't want to spend money in a sensor that I'm not sure if that is the root cause.

here are some pics:
