I have only had my CX-9 for about 1 1/2 months and less than 2,000 miles. My car makes a strange noise, almost like a notification. It's coming from the nav system. There is no notification tone when I take out the SD card. This started about a couple weeks ago and I haven't taken it to the dealer yet.

It is very random and I can't isolate when it does it, but it's annoying. There is no set time or time duration. Has anyone run across this problem?

 

Might it be the driver alert notification? It comes with a visual on the gauge cluster.

 

I wish it was that easy, but no. I don’t see anything pop up on the instrument cluster or the navigation screen. It’s totally random as far as I can tell.
