2019 CX-9 GT, 1.9A parasitic draw, fuse found, next steps?
Unfortunately, Mazda claims they were unable to replicate. They had it for 5-6 days. Car hasn’t given us issues in since. The only thing that we were guilty of was leaving the fob in the car when in the garage. Although, during testing I did remove it.
My only thought is that my original battery was actually bad and the weak battery was unable to fully put things to sleep? (I’m having to convince myself of this).

While on a weekend trip I always carry my back up key fob. Generally, it goes in the hotel room with me. This last time I left it in the Mazda. The next thing I heard was my low battery alarm sounding off after an hour walking on the beach. I have AAA. LOL I babysat the battery for the next several hours. I always take my scanner with me on trips. No voltage drops. I did remove the spare key fob from the car? I may have to duplicate the situation and see what happens?
I will say that my key fob is connected to an aftermarket security system so a little different that OEM. It also has a couple of not so common features.

For other reading this YES I know that there are dozens of www informational about this however no technical information that when I looked has a ASE or Automotive Engineer, even an Automotive Electrical Engineer or the like authoring them? .... YET!

Interesting? I will need to think about this?
