what advantages do you get with the apple carplay install
Just got my carplay kit today. Watched a couple of youtube videos and completed install in 3hrs. That was start to finish including cleaning up the interior. Was not difficult to install

I understand your frustration here. It's something that shouldn't have been announced, but program managers felt the need to. Then complications arose. Rather than just roll it out with complications and require customers to continually visit the dealer for updates, we wanted to wait until it was fully functional. Once it's launched it work Tutuapp 9Apps Showbox as well or better than what is equipped currently.
