2007 CX-9: Possible Faulty Climate Control Board
2007 CX-9. Grand Touring, AWD.
The rear blower motor stays on when the rear control is not selected. The rear blower motor stays on when the temp is at 60 then the rear blower fan speed decreases then increases when the temp is at 80+.
Took it in to my local Mazda Dealer and they said it's a possible faulty Climate Controller Board. They want $1100 to replace that board.
I've looked online a bit and while I can find the **** assembly for approx $30, I'm not seeing any controller boards, let alone one that may or may not cost several hundred dollars.
Looking for anyone out there with a 2007 CX-9 that may have similar issues, or looking for someone out there that can direct me towards a replacement climate controller board part. I have a buddy who owns an auto body shop and can replace the part, if I hand it to him.
Appreciate the help in advance!

Hi I was curious if you resolved your problem. I have a 2010 cx-9 with both the front and rear blower motors not working. I back probed the circuits responsible for power to the front blower motor and they are producing no voltage. I have good power point into module, so I ordered a used HVAC module from a junk yard for 30 bucks.
The board you're referring to I think is part of the module, the part with the dials and buttons on it. I would love to hear if you had any luck solving your problem thanks.
