08 CX9 died. HELP!!!!

Was driving at about 30 mph and suddenly all warning lights came on. Car ran fine but lights stayed on. Drove a few blocks to my destination and stopped. Turned off engine and turned key back on and tried to start. Dead. No click. Nothing. Went home and got my obdII scanner and scanned it. ERR on the scanner. It would not show any codes. Tried to jump it off. Nothing. No click. Dead. I disconnected the negative battery cable and left it off a minute. Re-connected it and tried it. Nothing. Battery is new and lights work. Any ideas? Tow it in? Any help appreciated.
Thanks,

Even though battery is new, it could be bad. Have it tested....

Well, I read the owners manual and decided that the security malfunction system was activated somehow as I was driving. I need to know if there is a way to override that system without towing it to the dealer. Anybody know?

Thanks,
Will

No override that I know of, would be kind of stupid to put in an override on a security system IMO, would make it too easy for thieves. Towing to your dealer is probably your best bet.

Thanks, Tirol,
Someone told me they heard there was a certain sequence of brake pedal/ignition key on and off, that would override it, but I had my doubts. As you say, why have a security system that could be overriden. I'll just call a wrecker service tomorrow and pay the dealer dearly.

Well, I had it towed in to the dealer. They kept it three days and it stopped on them twice. They re-programed the computer and everything worked fine for one week. I drove it about a mile from my home and the same warning lights came on, but it kept running fine. I turned around and drove it home and killed the engine. Same thing!!! Nothing. Dead. I'll have it towed in again Monday, I guess. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Will

It's Possessed. But not in a good way, like Christine (that car fixed itself):
Love the opening of the movie with "Bad to the Bone" and it's first victim:
Maybe it was in a flood and water got in and corroded wiring harness!

Well, after 4 weeks in the shop, they are saying it is a bad instrument cluster. It is not communicating with the computer? I am supposed to pick it up today at a cost of $900.00 more.

We'll see!!!
