Default Power Window Problem...Help!

Our daughter's cx7 drivers door power window will come down (sometimes halfway) but when you try to roll it up using the switch it clicks which made me think it needs a motor replaced. But do I need to replace regulator & motor?

Also drivers power switch for passengers window will roll down fine... but will not roll it up at all. Passengers side can roll down and up with out any problems. Driver can roll down and up back windows fine.

Did notice that lights on the drivers power switches does not light up except the auto does faintly.

HELP!!

I want to buy the parts to replace but did not know if drivers window motor works with passengers side also or if those are seperate or if I need to also replace regulators too!

Appreciate any advice provided!
Thanks!

window motors going out on all all doors is a very common problem in the CX-7's. I suggest you get an OEM part to replace them and not a cheap aftermarket part or you will be replacing it again in less than a year...

Default Electrical issues with CX7

Bringing this thread back to life.....my CX7 has had major issues making me question my 25 years of loyalty to Mazda. I bought this vehicle in 2011 brand new. 12 years later and I haven't broken 40k on it yet. I work from home, a rarity in LA to not have to be in traffic every day. I've had to replace the tires, which is normal after this long, but we are now on my 3rd power window going out. YEP, yes, Mazda, you read that right, both my front windows have had this issue and now my back passenger side is having it. This is a flaw with this CX7 model. Is this why they quit making these? The electrical issues have been over the top. Now, it's happening with the power locks as well. I have never heard of anyone else who has owned a Mazda having these type of issues. My best friend has Miata that is 2008 and she has never had her power locks or windows go out, so this is not about the "age" of the vehicle and this being normal. It's not normal. I'm so frustrated.
