Possible cause of blown 150 AMP fuse on positive battery cable
Have 2010 cx-7 sv with about 175,000. Original owner. Original starter and alternator. Main repairs have been front oil seal and transmission about 2 years ago. About 4 years ago, car intermittently would not crank. Would start usually on 3rd try. Seemed to act up couple times a month, on and off, usually in spurts and then be fine for a couple of months. All relays related to starting test good. Now will not crank, hear starter solenoid click when turn key, but no crank. Checked inline OEM 150 amp battery fuse, which is blown. First time this has happened. Replaced, tried to start, same solenoid click, no crank, 150 battery fuse blown. What does the fused side of the positive battery cable lead to, and any possible causes? Thank you very much.
