Performance boost on cx-7..
 

Ive been on ebay looking to accesorize the car. I keep seeing listings for a 45 boost of horsepower while keeping gas mileage at around 30mpg. Its only like 15 bucks shipped.. Does anyone have this piece or know anything about it? Im considering it but id like to know whether its a hoax or not.

YEAH I WAS LOOKING AT THAT TOO!,BUT IF YOU LOOK INTO A LITTLE FURTHER YOU WILL SEE ALTHOUGH THE SITE SAID IT IS MADE FOR CX-7 IT SAY FURTHER ON IN THE DESCRIPTION THAT IT IS NOT TO BE USED WITH TURBO OR SUPERCHARGED ENGINES!!!????....I THINK FROM WHAT I'VE BEEN HEARING FROM THE OTHER GUYS BEST WAY TO GO IS A NEW AIR INTAKE,BIGGER INTERCOOLER AND UPGRADE EXHAUST......WOULD YOU REALLY WANT TO PUT A FIFTEEN DOLLAR PART IN A FORTY THOUSAND DOLLAR VEHICLE ANYWAYS?

Shoot uslinkto the auction... but it sounds like apower booster "chip" which is actually nothing more than a .20 resister in a plastic box. If that's it, itwill do nothing but make the car run incredably rich. Not a good thing.
