make a hole in the silencer?
 

Hi,
I've a cx7 2.3 turbo with gas GPL fuel. A friend of mine told me it would be better to make a little hole in both silencers to avoid, during the winter, that the GPL causes water condense that can damage the silencers themselves.
The technician that installed the GPL part did not told me about this, so I believe this is not correct, but I'm asking here if someone has experience or opinions.

Please consider that the car sleeps outdoor during the whole winter with temperaturs ranging from -10 °C to 10 °C.

Are you talking exhaust or intake?

Exhaust: NO

Intake: Yes, to get more cold air in to intake.
