2011 mazda cx-7, basic non turbo version.

​​​​​​​ok, i dont think this is a common one, but at random times, but usually every time the car is used, upon stopping, or driving very slowly, the car will do a minor accelleration / surge, just like lightly tappijg on the accellerator. an example is pulliing up on the driveway and coming to a stop, but the car will suddenly go forwards, and we have to quickly get on the brakes, happens at traffic lights every now and again, really strange, the car has been doing it for around 3 or 4 years, we just had an engine replacement and the car still does it in exactly the same way,, it also does it when the car is in reverse. beacuase of the engine replacement, im guessing its more likely to be a transmission thing?
has anyone heard of anything like this?

Do u have any trouble codes to work with? Intake manifold stuck open?

Is it the engine rpm increase because of air conditioning turned on?
