2008 Mazda CX7 engine noise and VVT...need help to validate
I need help with second opinion from experts in validating the engine sound of my 2008 Mazda CX7 (39,947 miles).
Please refer to the youtube link which I have uploaded....video of the engine running: 2008 Mazda CX7 turbo engine noise and VVT
Is this the normal engine sound of a 2008 Mazda CX7? Or this tic-tic noise is due to the VVT going bad....as per the well known VVT issue with the CX7s (and extended warranty for 70,000 miles or 7 years).
Took it to the Mazda dealer for check-up and they said everything was normal.
