I drive safely with my seatbelt buckled, however as soon as I start the car the seatbelt chime starts. The car is in park and I'm just getting situated then I buckle myself in and drive. The chime is annoying and I don't want to have myself and all my passengers buckle in before starting the car. Plus I live in Texas so I like letting the AC run for a bit before getting ready to head out.

Is there a known way to disable this chime?

 

It's marginally annoying but I just tune it out. You can adjust and lower the volume though.

 

I just learned the lesson 😃 I now put my seatbelt on before turning on the ignition. Mazda wins 😂
