Default Will wheels from a 2011 Miata fit my 2022 CX-5?

Hi all,

This is my first post as a soon to be owner of a 2022 CX-5 Signature.

I am looking for 17" wheels to mount winter tires on, and came across a deal I'm considering. The wheels are 17 x 7J, with a 52 offset. They came off a 2011 NC Miata.

I believe the OEM wheels on the CX-5 have an offset of 45.

Would these be compatible? Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

I don't think you can fit a 17" wheel on the turbo models due to the size of the front brakes. I am sure some else will confirm.

Thank you for your answer.

I had already confirmed that a 17" wheel will fit on the turbo models. I ended up buying the wheels in question after confirmation they will fit from a dealer and a CX-5 Facebook group.

Interesting. Please let us know when you actually have them put on that they do work. Others may want to do the same.

Will do, although it will likely be sometime in November.

Looks good. That is with no spacers? Tire size?

Thanks! Correct, no spacers. Took off my 19" for these - 225/65R17.

Looks good. My only concern might be the strength of wheels designed for a 2400# vehicle installed on a 3800# vehicle…

Thanks! Hmmm, you've given me some food for thought. Will look into that concern.
