2016 CX5 fwd 77k miles . Recently has periodic loud vibration under the center right dash area — just like a cellphone on vibrate. Loud enough to startle. At cruising speed on highway this most recent time. Buzzed about 5 times, stopped, then a few minutes later once more. I slowed down to 60. Didn’t happen again today. What in the world?

 

Just an idea but with automatic a/c where you set the temperature numerically like a home thermostat the blend doors in the dash are moving constantly. You could have a bad actuator module that isn't moving or maybe one with something stuck in it that worked it's way down through the defroster vents.
