Exclamation Vacuum management light

I have a 2016 CX5 45k miles, just forked out £1500 to have a new turbo fitted, now have a management light that is for a vacuum fault.

I read something on here that a Mazda mechanic said the due to vacuum pump failure or deterioration it would blow up the turbo first then the vacuum pump, does anyone know?

I also see that there is a recall for Vacuum pump 2012-2016 CX5 butt just contacted Mazda Tech services and she said there are no outstanding recalls, it went for a recall 6 months back for an intake valve management, but nothing regarding vacuum pump.

Would be nice to see someone from Mazda chipping in with some answers.

Pete

What fault code are you getting for the vacuum fault?

I would take it to Mazda, their scan tools read alot more than generic scan tools do.
